This is my new Nephew. He is so perfect. After my sister and brother-in-law tried for over a year to adopt, he was finally born a week and a half ago.
My class. I feel like I have a dual identity. I work hard with my class and they are so much fun. And I have a real life outside of work. I only have 5 more weeks with them, and I will miss them so.

Things found in desks this year:
-pocketknives:1
-full milk cartons:1
-underwear:1 pair
the latter's conversation went as follows: "Miss Wooten, so-and-so put underwear in the desk in the hall" "really?" "yea!" "I'll take care of it" later that day: "Hey so-and-so, did you put underwear in the desk in the hall?" "Uhhhhhhhhhhh I don't know" *he looks confused* "do you not remember" "yea, I don't remember" "can you go look for me?" seconds later he comes in hold a pair of boy's black underwear. "Uhhhhh yea I guess I did... I found it on the floor in the hall so I put it there" "go wash your hands"
My Grandpa:

Everything worked out miraculously for a trip to California to see my Grandpa. It was my Spring Break, Noelle was laid off, Chelsea skipped school, and my amazing cousin Ashley was able to get off work. Hacienda Heights is one of my most favorite places in the world.

Grandpa was able to show off his new car to us. We went to visit my Aunt/Grandma Norma in the hospital to spend time with her. While Grandpa was taking a nap, we snuck outside and dominated his backyard. He has these stairs and paths that lead down to the unmaintained swimming pool. We attacked the overgrown path and stairs with a pair of clippers and a broom. We found steps where none were visible before, and we tamed mother nature.

My Grandpa holds positions at church such as Patriarch and Temple Sealer. He tells the best stories and jokes. His house is one of my favorite places because he is there.
My friends:

I have so many friends who have been there for me. Jeremy and I have been close since high school, it was so fun to see him in Cali and finally meet his soulmate. Zach is so incredible, I'm so glad the universe brought us together, and I am proud of him. Andrew is like my twin seperated at birth, I'm so ecstatic that he moved back to Utah. My Moab/Steak night friends are the best. Like, seriously. Like if you need help leaving your husband you can call them. Way high quality. I'm also glad I kept in touch with some of my favorite people from freshman year, and I'm pysched that we are still close.
