Playing during Christmas break

I LOVE homemade almond roca! We make it at least once every Christmas, and I'm excited I got some ingredients and a candy thermometer for Christmas:

We were almost stranded in Kansas because of weather, which would foil Noelle's plans to be at work and my plans to move. Fortunately, Austin and Creighton are incredible and met us in Western Kansas and took us the rest of the way! Love them, what a sweet roadtrip!


While driving through Colorado, we stopped at the Hill's house to strap a mattress to our roof for Terence. We spent some time sledding behind 4-wheelers, eating scones, and chillin





I loved Avatar, it was so beautiful.

I hope he got me a lacrosse helmet to go along with the acrostic

We are doing acrostic poems at school right now. Here is one that one of my kids wrote. This is the kid who rolls his eyes when I tell my class about dates I go on, and who wrote in a paper that he liked California because it had grills and girls.
